About the Business Development Team

Proofpoint Business Development team works to capture market share across the USA and partners with Field, Territory, and Enterprise Account Managers. Business Development Representatives (BDRs) have a direct impact on sales success by connecting potential customers with our cybersecurity solutions.

Location:

Draper, UT.

Hours:

8:30am – 5:30pm.

• Manage inbound call volume from sales/marketing phone numbers and assist with sales/support inquiries.
• Manage inbound chat tool from the corporate website for sales/support inquiries.
• Identify, contact, and qualify potential new customers.
• Work closely with SDR team members to schedule product demonstrations between sales representatives and potential customers.
• Use  and other sales tools to identify leads and opportunities.

• Proven track record of high achievement.
• Expressive speaker able to quickly and clearly articulate highly technical information.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Innovative thinker who enjoys creative problem solving.
• Collaborative team player who shares and learns sales tactics.

• Experience working with  or other CRM is a plus.
