Pile Buck​/Pile Driver

Position: Pile Buck/ Pile Driver
Pile Buck responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to the list below.

* Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure and jobsite layout.

* Lays out worksite as needed.

* Determines sequence of activities concerned for piling installation.

* Assigns workers to daily tasks and manages production.

* Provide signals to cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment

* Drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of structures, such as buildings, bridges, and piers

* Effectively position and operate power hammers to drive pilings

* Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.

* Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.

* Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or stick arc welding equipment.

* Clean, lubricate, and refill equipment.

* Drive pilings to provide support for buildings or other structures, using heavy equipment with a pile driver head.

Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in tele-handler or rough-terrain forklift operation

* 4+ years of experience working with cranes

* 4+ years of experience working with, maintaining and inspecting pile hammers, leads, lifting cables, and slings.

* 4+ years of experience in welding and cutting

* 3+ year of being 3G & 4G certified for welding (Stick, wire)

* Ability to lift at least 75 lbs

* Crane Certifications is a plus
