What does a Senior Software Engineer do at Swire Coca-Cola? A Senior Software Engineer at Swire Coca-Cola designs, builds, and maintains modern, scalable applications that support the business end to end. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and product owners to translate needs into high-quality, full-stack solutions using Microsoft and cloud technologies. The engineer leads development across web, mobile, and API-based applications, ensures secure and well-integrated systems, and upholds strong engineering standards.

They also provide technical leadership by mentoring junior team members, guiding design and security decisions, and troubleshooting complex issues across environments to deliver reliable solutions on time.

• Develop features and enhancements for existing and new applications in the adopted tech stack based on requirements from intake project requests from the business and product teams, through inception to deployment to meet budget and timeline constraints, across Azure Cloud, On-Prem, or Hybrid hosting models
• Maintain existing applications by prioritizing and resolving reported issues related to all applications owned by the Application Development team across the Swire organization in a timely manner based on priorities, across Azure Cloud, On-Prem, or Hybrid hosting models
• Migrate legacy applications to modern ones through adopted application sanitization processes and tech stack
• Communicate and coordinate project status/effort with Scrum Master, Project Manager, Applications Development Manager, team members, partner teams, stakeholders, product owners, and senior management via scrum cadences and other channels
• Troubleshoot and investigate production issues in all environments including Dev, QA, and PROD
• Ensure coding follows App Dev adopted standards, adheres to secure processes, reviews PRs, and manages merges from feature branches to main for QA and PROD releases using pipelines and Dev Ops best practices
• Understand, propose design solutions, and implement fixes for security vulnerabilities across applications
• Collaborate with the team, solutions partners, IT partners, and business leaders to identify automation opportunities and deliver strategic solutions aligned with adopted tech standards and Swire IT security requirements
• Mentor and guide junior team members/interns with the App Dev inventory, repos, setup, troubleshooting, and design approaches

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience creating web-based and mobile applications in the Microsoft stack
• 6+ years of experience in applications development using languages such as C#, ASP.NET, Web API, APIs, Blazor, React, Angular, HTML5, CSS, SQL
• 2+ years of experience with Visual Studio, Azure Cosmos, SQL Server, Snowflake, MS Fabric connectivity, Azure App Services, Azure Docker & Container Registries, Azure Key Vault, Azure Configuration, Azure Entra, Easy Auth, Middle wares, ADO, Azure Open AI, Azure Communication Services, Azure Application Insights and Azure Monitoring
• 2+ years of experience in Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban)
• 2+ years of experience using and integrating productivity and security tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Sonar Qube, Veracode, Snyk)
• 4+ years of experience developing and automating CI/CD pipelines for application releases and deployments
