Project Superintendent –Traffic Signal, and Highway Lighting Systems

Position Summary

Renegade Underground LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Superintendent with a strong background in Traffic Signal, ITS, Highway Lighting construction for UDOT (Utah Department of Transportation) and City Municipality projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for on-site leadership, coordination, and supervision of crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

• Lead and supervise Traffic Signal, ITS and Highway Lighting projects across Utah.
• Manage installation of Traffic Signals, Fiber Optics, CCTV, DMS, Radar Systems, etc.
• Ensure compliance with UDOT standards, MUTCD, and all project specifications.
• Oversee subcontractors, field personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain daily reports, redlines, safety documentation, and QA/QC records.
• Conduct progress meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Resolve field issues proactively and prevent project delays.

• 3+ years (preferred) in Traffic Signal/ITS/ Highway Lighting Field Supervision (UDOT experience preferred).
• Knowledge of UDOT specifications and Traffic Signal/ITS Highway Lighting systems.
• OSHA 30 certification/ IMSA/ATSSA preferred.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Office, and reporting software (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred); ability to travel.
