Truck Driver

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, is seeking experienced and safety‑focused Truck Drivers to operate end dumps, belly dumps, and truck & pup combinations across projects throughout Salt Lake and Utah Counties. This position plays a key role in supporting construction operations by safely transporting aggregates, asphalt, and other materials to and from job sites.

• Safely operate dump trucks including end dump, belly dump, and truck & pup trailer combinations.
• Transport aggregates, asphalt, and construction materials to job sites and plants.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and job site crews.
• Assist with basic maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed.
• Complete daily logs, tickets, and required documentation accurately.
• Support team operations and assist at job sites when needed.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to CRH’s safety‑first culture.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3+ years of experience operating dump trucks, preferably with end dump, belly dump, and/or pup trailers.
• Construction, aggregates, or asphalt industry experience strongly preferred.

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Ability to safely operate various truck configurations (single, end dump, belly, truck & pup).
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
• Ability to climb in and out of truck cab multiple times per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.).

• Construction sites, quarries, and plant environments.
• Seasonal fluctuations with potential for overtime, early mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Travel within Salt Lake and Utah Counties required daily.
