This skilled position requires effective management of mobile crushing operations, with travel required.

• Oversight of production and quality from the crusher and wash plant
• Responsible for maintenance of crusher
• Maintain accurate time and material records
• Ensure the safety of the operation and all employees
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Work rotating shift and possible weekend shifts

Supervises 2 to 10 employees.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; at least 2 years of crushing operation experience and/or equivalent knowledge.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings to customers, clients, and employees.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and interpret bar graphs.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

• Ability to type accurately and use keyboards; knowledge of database software.

• Standard Driver’s License required.

• Knowledge of different aggregates.
• Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
• Prior management experience.

Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather; extreme cold or heat. Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
