Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable family-run dealership based in Brentwood, Essex, for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician.

• Competitive basic salary of up to £42,000 per annum

• Accurately and efficiently undertake vehicle repairs and servicing
• Diagnose faults precisely, ensuring all work is compliant with safety and quality standards
• Carry out mechanical and electrical tasks delegated by the workshop supervisor
• Keep detailed records of parts used and time spent on repairs
• Road test vehicles to verify repair quality
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and to company standards

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent qualification
• Experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician post-apprenticeship
• Full UK driving licence
• Own set of tools
• Experience working on a range of vehicle repairs, including diagnostics, cambelts, and timing chains
• Confident working independently and managing a varied workload
