Automotive Detailer

Car Max is hiring Automotive Detailers to ensure every vehicle looks and feels like new before it reaches our customers. In this hands-on role, you'll clean, wash, wax, and buff vehicles, restore interiors, and perform quality checks following Car Max standards for safety and presentation. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll use professional tools and products, follow established processes, and help maintain a clean, safe shop.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors to Car
• Max standards
• Vacuum, shampoo, and deep-clean interiors, including upholstery and carpets
• Perform basic cosmetic reconditioning such as stain and odor removal
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and appearance before lot display or delivery
• Follow safety procedures when using chemicals, tools, and equipment
• Move and stage vehicles safely around the lot and shop areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe detailing workspace
• Follow standard operating procedures and production goals
• Use basic systems or checklists to track work completed
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to meet customer timelines
