Senior Systems Controls Engineer

Seeking a Senior Systems Controls Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation, controls engineering, motion control systems, electrical design, and software development. This role is responsible for designing, programming, testing, and supporting advanced automation solutions for industrial manufacturing and processing environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing control architectures, integrating automation technologies, and delivering reliable, scalable systems from concept through implementation

• Design, develop, program, and test control systems for semi-automated and fully automated manufacturing equipment and production workstation
• Participate in pre-project activities including conceptual design, controls architecture development, project scheduling, and cost estimatio
• Develop PLC logic, HMI applications, motion control systems, machine vision integrations, SCADA solutions, data collection systems, and industrial networking architecture
• Integrate automation technologies including motion control, machine vision, robotics, industrial communication protocols, databases, and manufacturing execution system
• Create structured, reusable, and maintainable control software that supports long-term system reliability and future enhancement
• Design and troubleshoot electrical control systems, industrial networks, and automation hardwar
• Support system commissioning, validation, acceptance testing, and customer handoff activitie
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality assurance, project management, materials, and sales to ensure successful project executio
• Gather and document system requirements through discussions with customers, stakeholders, and engineering team
• Develop technical documentation including functional specifications, interface documentation, test procedures, and engineering release package
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, progress reports, and status updates throughout the project lifecycl
• Analyze existing controls methodologies and recommend improvements to software development standards, engineering processes, and design practice

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Automation, or a related technical discipli
• Advanced degree preferr
• Several years of experience designing and implementing custom automation, motion control, and HMI solutio
• Experience developing machine vision applications and integrating vision systems into manufacturing process
• Strong background in industrial automation, control system architecture, and software developme
