Dr. Mingye Feng’s laboratory at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope National Medical Center is looking for a talented and highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow.
The laboratory employs cutting-edge techniques to understand mechanisms of macrophages in cancer immunosurveillance, identify immune checkpoints and ligands on various hematopoietic malignant and solid tumor cells with high-throughput screening and protein engineering approaches, and develop novel cancer immunotherapies targeting metastatic cancer cells.
As a successful candidate, you will:- Utilize a combination of cell biological, molecular biological, cell engineering and immunological assays, large-scale high-throughput screening approaches (CRISPR screen, drug screen, etc.) and in vivo preclinical models to study interactions between cancer cells and macrophages and develop novel macrophage-mediated cancer immunotherapies.
- A PhD in relevant field – cancer biology, immunology, or cell biology.
- Excellent verbal and written skills and integral working ethics.
