About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and systematic Document Controller to join our project team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire document control lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, timely distribution, and secure archiving of all project documentation in compliance with company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the project document control system using industry-standard platforms such as Aconex, Asite, Procore, or similar EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems).
  • Maintain and update drawing logs, transmittal registers, correspondence trackers, and submission workflows.
  • Ensure strict version control, proper naming conventions, and organized archiving of all project documents.
  • Distribute documents to relevant internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients in a timely manner.
  • Handle authority submissions, consultant documentation, and client deliverables in accordance with project requirements.
  • Support the project team in retrieving historical documents and preparing documentation for audits or handover.
  • Train project staff on document control procedures and system usage as needed.
Skills Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of document control experience in the UAE construction contracting industry.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major EDMS such as Aconex, Asite, Procore, or similar
    .
  • Strong understanding of construction document types (drawings, RFIs, method statements, permits, etc.) and submission workflows.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and SharePoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Salary Range

AED 6,000 – AED 7,000 per month (based on experience and system proficiency).
