Legal Secretary

Overview

Charterhouse are partnering with an international law firm that is seeking an enthusiastic Legal Secretary to join their successful team.

Based in Dubai, our client is looking for a proactive Legal Secretary to provide high‑level support to a Partner and a team of lawyers. The role requires effective multitasking, including complex diary and email management, arranging meetings, and handling correspondence. The role will also coordinate travel arrangements and assist with internal conferences and events.

In addition, the Legal Secretary will handle a variety of legal administrative tasks such as drafting and proofreading documents, preparing PowerPoint presentations, organizing and attending meetings, and taking minutes. The role also involves supporting the billing process, processing expenses, and managing photocopying, filing, and scanning. The Secretary may also assist with welcoming clients and performing ad‑hoc duties as needed.

To be considered for this role, candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced, corporate environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional and personable approach, strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, with Arabic considered an advantage. Candidate should be fully proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Further education in a related field is preferred. Previous corporate experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
