- Manage check‑in and check‑out processes, ensuring minimal wait times for patients.
- Assist in the preparation and management of patient consent forms and paperwork.
- Maintain the reception area and ensure it is tidy, welcoming, and stocked with necessities.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and mail distribution.
- Escalate complex patient concerns to appropriate managerial or medical staff.
- Collaborate with the billing department to address insurance queries and billing issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; healthcare background is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required for patient interaction.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and office software, including MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently and accurately.
Familiarity with healthcare patient management systems and electronic records management. - Empathetic and patient‑focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
