Position: Patient Administrators - Front Desk & Billing (Locum/Temporary Contract)

King’s College Hospital London – Dubai is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Locum/Temporary Patient Administrator to support our Front Desk and Billing operations for a 6‑month contract
. This role is vital in ensuring a smooth patient journey by managing registrations, check‑ins, billing tasks, and administrative support across the department.

This position also offers a strong possibility of conversion to a full‑time contract, depending on overall performance and organizational need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
  • Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and check‑in/check‑out processes.
  • Process billing, insurance verification, approvals, and payment collection accurately.
  • Handle phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with hospital policies.
  • Coordinate closely with clinical teams, insurance, and other operational departments to support seamless patient flow.
  • Address and escape patient concerns appropriately.
  • Support general administrative duties as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare administration/front-desk role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of billing processes, insurance workflows, and patient registration systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast‑paced environment, and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Availability to commit to a 6‑month temporary contract
    , with potential for full‑time absorption based on performance.
