As a Support Coordinator you will support the effective planning and deployment of manpower by coordinating day-to-day resource activities, maintaining accurate workforce data, and generating insights through structured reporting. The role ensures timely resolution of roster anomalies, facilitates engagement with outsourced providers, and assists the Resources & Facilities Controller in managing routine yet essential operational, transactional, and administrative functions.
In This Role, You Will- Analyse manpower and operational data, including short-term resourcing gaps, to deliver insights that inform resource planning, forecasting, and performance tracking, to support the development of future manpower strategies. Deliver concise resource analyses to the Resources & Facilities Controller and Line teams to enhance visibility of workforce trends and support timely operational interventions.
- Maintain and regularly update records to ensure roster plans align with operational needs and airline handling standards. Prepare and deliver routine and ad hoc reports on: manpower deployment, utilisation, planned versus actual man‑hours, overtime trends, absenteeism, ad‑hoc billable demands from airline customers and changes in Service Level Agreement to support informed operational decision‑making. Promptly elevate critical staffing/ rostering issues to the Resources & Facilities Controller.
- Perform department level validation checks to ensure that updates to roster plans and roster groupings are driven by changing operational demands, and are accurately reflected in operational rosters by Support Services Team.
- Coordinate and consolidate employee feedback on roster satisfaction, from engagement sessions for feasibility review, to enable data‑driven enhancements to rostering practices. Liaise with outsourced manpower providers to share operational feedback. Maintain records of outsource providers deviations, and report staffing discrepancies to the Resources and Facilities Controller.
- 10 yrs schooling or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience working in a relevant operational role within the aviation sector
- Knowledge/skills:
- Adequate understanding of resource planning activities
- Understanding of Realtime Control (RTC) or similar planning tools
- Ability to analyse and interpret data for decision‑making and planning purposes
- Proficient computer literacy skills
- Proficient communication skills
- Proficient verbal, writing and presenting skills
- Advanced planning and organizing skills
