Document Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, distribution and archiving of all project documentation, drawings, contracts, correspondence, reports.
• Ensure document control processes comply with company policies and UAE construction regulations.
• Maintain an up-to-date document management system (DMS) and ensure version control of drawings and documents.
• Track, monitor and update registers for drawings, RFIs, submittals, approvals and other project records.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and site teams to ensure proper documentation flow.
• Prepare reports and logs for management on document status, outstanding approvals and compliance.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive documents.
• Support audits and inspections by providing required records and documentation.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Document Controller in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of document control procedures, filing systems and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of document control software (Aconex, Primavera, etc.) is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills.
