Our client is India’s first INR-margined crypto futures exchange, building institutional-grade infrastructure for digital asset derivatives. As we expand globally, we are seeking a Business Development Lead based in Dubai to spearhead global partnerships for our futures technology stack. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone eager to build and grow a business development function in a fast-moving environment.
Role OverviewAs the first business development hire in the UAE, you will take charge of building the client’s global partnership network from the ground up. You will identify and engage with institutional clients, trading platforms, fintech enablers, and ecosystem partners across key global markets. This is a strong fit for someone who can operate independently, build trust across stakeholders, and evolve into a leadership role as our international presence grows.
Key Responsibilities Strategy and Ownership- Support the development of global BD strategy for our futures technology platform.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact partnership opportunities across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and South America.
- Source and manage strategic relationships with trading firms, liquidity providers, custodians, and financial platforms.
- Assist in structuring commercial and technical partnerships including white‑labeling, APIs, and go‑to‑market collaborations.
- Represent company at industry conferences, fintech events, and ecosystem gatherings across core partner markets.
- Build a steady pipeline of qualified partnership leads and coordinate onboarding with internal teams.
- Work closely with product, compliance, and engineering teams to support integration and execution of partnership initiatives.
- Provide insights from the field to influence product features and business direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus but not required.
- 4–7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales—ideally in fintech, trading, crypto, or B2B SaaS.
- Exposure to institutional clients, financial services platforms, or international BD is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working in a lean team environment with evolving goals.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
- Must be based in Dubai.
- Willing to travel internationally 30–40% for partner meetings and industry events.
