We are seeking an experienced commodities editor with strong price reporting expertise to lead coverage of metals markets from our Dubai hub. This role is ideally suited to someone with a deep understanding of metals commodities, and a passion for recycling, the energy transition and green metals. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, driving benchmark adoption, and engaging directly with regional and global market participants.

As Commodities Editor – Dubai, you will take responsibility for delivering high quality market coverage and trusted price reporting in one of the world’s most dynamic trading centres. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders across metals markets, including recyclers, producers, traders and consumers, ensuring our reporting remains accurate, transparent and central to the global energy transition story.
What You’ll Do- Lead coverage of metals benchmarks and reporting from Dubai, with a particular focus on recycling and green metals
- Produce accurate, timely and transparent market assessments
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Middle East and international markets
- Collaborate with regional and global colleagues to ensure editorial consistency and integrity
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and client meetings
- Proven experience in commodities price reporting, ideally with a focus on metals
- Strong knowledge of metals benchmarks, price discovery and market methodologies
- Passion and subject expertise in recycling, energy transition and green metals
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior market participants
- Editorial integrity with an understanding of the commercial landscape
