Job Summary
oversee the global packaging materials procurement portfolio s role is instrumental in driving procurement excellence, market intelligence, and transformation initiatives across our international operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and process optimization, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities Lead Global Packaging Procurement- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for packaging materials across all business units.
- Ensure full spending coverage (excluding Oils & Grain trading) through enhanced collaboration and streamlined processes.
- Deliver consistent cost savings and risk mitigation through supplier diversification and localization.
- Drive continuous supplier performance improvement, targeting high vendor rating compliance.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of procurement transformation programs including Global Business Services (GBS).
- Build an integrated procurement framework covering strategic sourcing, backend support, P2P processes, and supply operations.
- Standardize procurement processes to ensure compliance with (DOA).
- Collaborate with internal teams (IS, Risk & Compliance) to support SAP implementation and policy adherence.
- Enhance supplier selection and performance monitoring to improve service delivery and procurement productivity.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify and execute growth opportunities through innovation and optimization.
- Organize Supplier Innovation Days and publish market intelligence reports for key commodities.
- Implement embedded risk management strategies and conduct market benchmarking for finished goods.

- 10+ years of related experience in procurement including experience in Packaging Materials & Market Intelligence; along with at least 5 years in FMCG organization
- Global experience is desirable
- Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology/Finance/Statistics.
- MBA/Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from a reputed university is preferable
