About the Role

Your primary responsibilities will be to acquire new clients in selected countries in the Middle East and generate incremental revenues for the company. You will spend energy understanding new clients, acquiring new clients, regularly analyzing key clients  business, operations and performance, and work with the management team and peers in other functional areas to leverage best practices and provide consistent high-competence sales skills.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and the highest degree of effectiveness across Nium s market-leading propositions, such as banking
  • Identify, secure, and manage relationships with banking, financial institutions and other clients across the Middle East and Central Asia, effectively negotiating and persuading potential clients of the value that Nium can add to their business
  • Act with a constant drive to exceed past performance, generate sales leads, effectively negotiate, and close transactions to achieve financial targets
  • Generate revenue from clients and achieve pre-agreed targets on customer flows, revenues, and profitability
  • Demonstrate business development and consultative selling skills with a results orientation to meet/exceed assigned financial and customer satisfaction goals
  • Pro-actively hunt for opportunities in the marketplace through direct contact and partners. Build relationships with key players in banks, financial institutions and other target segments to generate qualified opportunities, map accounts, influence key decision-makers, and close deals
Requirements
  • 5-10+ years of sales experience (from sourcing to go-live) in selling payment solutions to regulated financial institutions and clients seeking cross-border payment solutions
  • Strong track record of outperforming commercial targets in past sales roles
  • Ability to independently source deals in the selected client segments to create a healthy sales pipeline and position Nium s solutions appropriately
  • Commercially focused and pragmatic, able to identify opportunities and propose solutions focusing on the value Nium adds rather than merely competing on price
  • Ability to understand and tailor approach to individual customers with empathy, effectively acting as a problem-solver for the customer
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset
  • Results-oriented, client-focused and committed to delivering value
  • Self-motivated, adept at working independently and as part of a global team
  • Proficiency in Arabic is preferred
