ROPU IMETA is a Regional Operating Unit consisting of 6 mid-sized Operating Units:
India, Turkey, Southern Africa (South Africa & Sub Sahara Africa) Northeast & West Africa, Near East & UAE, Saudi Arabia, Gulf & East Africa (SAGEA).

We are currently seeking a talented and innovative IT Intern to join our Organization s IT team in the UAE, based in Dubai. As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals who will guide you through real-world, hands-on experiences. This internship will provide valuable insights into various aspects of finance and contribute directly to the success of our company.

• Assist in the development and deployment of internal applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere etc.).
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Utilize Python programming skills to support data analysis, automation initiatives, and explore AI/ML concepts within projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects, and support the development of engaging marketing content, including videos, presentations, and other multimedia materials.
• Bring a creative mindset to problem-solving and contribute innovative ideas, including exploring potential applications of AI in relevant business contexts.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, including AI fundamentals, and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

• Recent graduate with a bachelor’s in computer science or data science.
• Proven programming experience in Python (personal projects, coursework, etc.).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) and a strong interest in developing business applications.
• Experience in creating dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with forecasting and predictive modelling e.g. with sales, supply, financial data, etc.
• A passion for creating compelling marketing content (portfolio examples or descriptions are a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn.
• Holder of UAE residence visa
