About the RoleThe Dealer Development Manager at BYD plays a pivotal role in establishing and growing a high-performing dealer network. With BYD’s dealer footprint in UAE still in its early stages, this role is tasked with rapidly expanding the network to support the brand’s strategic growth objectives. The manager will lead initiatives to identify, onboard, and develop new dealers while ensuring existing partners are equipped with the sales and product knowledge required to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Additionally, the role will lead regular group reviews with dealers to assess KPI, to foster collaboration, alignment, and strategic input from the network.
- Identify strategic locations and partners to grow BYD’s dealer footprint across UAE.
- Lead the onboarding process for new dealers, including facility readiness, staffing, and brand compliance.
- Develop and implement dealer development strategies aligned with BYD’s market entry and growth plans.
- Conduct regular dealer performance reviews and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
- Lead structured group reviews with dealer investor groups, focusing on key business performance KPIs such as sales volumes, conversion rates, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Establish and manage a national dealer council to facilitate strategic dialogue, share best practices, and align network priorities with BYD’s business objectives.
- Undertake other tasks assigned by the leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive dealer development or training.
- Proven track record in expanding dealer networks and improving sales performance.
- Deep understanding of automotive retail operations and customer experience best practices.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficient in English.
