Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support the sales department and its operations in the automotive export industry. The ideal candidate will manage back-office tasks, coordinate with clients and internal departments, handle documentation, and ensure seamless communication to facilitate the sales process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support:
    Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Sales Manager and Chief Sales Officer, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing reports, creating sales and work orders, and ensuring timely closure.
  • Documentation Management:
    Handle all sales-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and export regulations.
  • Client Coordination:
    Serve as a liaison between clients and reporting managers, addressing inquiries, providing timely updates, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction around the clock.
  • Interdepartmental Communication:
    Coordinate with logistics, finance, and marketing to streamline processes and resolve issues related to the sales department and its operations.
  • Data Management:
    Maintain and update client databases, sales records, and inventory lists using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, client feedback, and other relevant metrics to the Sales Manager and Chief Sales Officer.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2 years in an administrative or assistant role within the automotive, logistics, or consultancy sectors. Experience in the automobile industry is preferred.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems. Ability to manage complex Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Language

    Skills:

    Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic or French is advantageous. Knowledge of Hindi or Urdu is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:

    Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, client-facing confidence, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

    Not at the moment.
  • Interview Process:
    Two rounds — one with the Sales Manager and one with the Chief Sales Officer.
