Business Development Manager

a leading pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting a business development manager for their dubai office.

• drive local manufacturing initiatives across priority markets, coordinating commercial, regulatory, and manufacturing inputs.
• track milestones, manage dependencies, and resolve execution delays.
• identify country-specific portfolio gaps and translate them into structured opportunity briefs.
• align briefs with central business development for evaluation and sourcing.
• serve as the main interface between international markets and central business development, ensuring prioritization and pipeline alignment.
• support early-stage coordination with manufacturers, out-licensing, and strategic partners, ensuring opportunities are execution-ready.

• bachelor’s degree in business, pharmacy, engineering, life sciences, or related field (mba/master’s preferred).
• 5–8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry with exposure to international markets (mena, africa, emerging markets).
• experience in market expansion, partnerships, portfolio planning, manufacturing projects, and distributor/multi-country portfolios.
• knowledge of pharmaceutical operating models, contract manufacturing, and technology transfer.
• strong strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and ability to evaluate opportunities for fit, viability, and complexity.
• proven ability to collaborate across functions, manage stakeholders, and influence without formal authority.
