Summary
We are seeking a Purchaser/Buyer to join our civil Construction Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials needed for construction projects.
Job Responsibility- Identify reliable suppliers and maintain relationships with them
- Source and purchase materials at the best prices while ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
- Coordinate with other teams to determine material needs for various projects
- Monitor inventory levels and track material usage
- Resolve any supply issues or discrepancies that may arise
- Proven work experience as a Purchaser/Buyer in the construction industry
- Good understanding of construction materials and suppliers
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices in the construction sector
