The Business Development Executive plays a key role in driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and executing strategies to expand market presence. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Job Description:The Job role is to gain and develop business from new customers in order to exceed predefined targets set by the Management.
The individual is directly responsible for volume/revenue/GP growth across all products in Mainly Air, Sea and Land freight.
Main responsibilities:- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, sectors, and trends.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and participation in industry events.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and grow the business pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Act as a point of contact to ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance business strategy.
- Experience in business development in the freight forwarding industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Achieve GP minimum 3-4 times of your target salary.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in freight forwarding Sales (Air, Sea & Land).
- Must have existing customer base from the respective market.
- An understanding of logistics operations and Freight industry, products & services.
