We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead Euro Coffee’s procurement function across multiple suppliers and portals. This role is critical to ensuring product availability, cost control, and continuity of supply across the business. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, commercially sharp, and experienced in forecasting demand, planning orders in advance, and managing multiple supplier platforms simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Coordination:
Manage relationships with multiple local and international suppliers. - Multi-Portal Ordering:
Place and track orders across different supplier portals and systems. - Commercial Negotiation:
Support negotiations on pricing, lead times, MOQs, and delivery terms.
- Demand Forecasting:
Forecast demand based on sales trends, seasonality, and business growth. - Planning:
Plan procurement cycles to avoid stockouts and overstocking. - Lead Time Management:
Account for supplier lead times, shipping timelines, and contingencies.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Finance to align purchasing with commercial needs. - Documentation:
Ensure POs, confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices are accurate and properly recorded. - Process Improvement:
Improve procurement workflows, approvals, and reporting.
- Cost Management:
Monitor landed costs, pricing variances, and budget adherence. - Compliance:
Ensure purchasing aligns with internal policies and supplier agreements. - Risk Management:
Identify supply risks and maintain contingency sourcing plans.
Experience 5+ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement within F&B, Ho Re Ca , FMCG, or distribution environments.
Systems & Portals Proven experience working across multiple supplier portals and ERP/WMS systems (experience with Sage is a strong advantage).
Forecasting & PlanningStrong experience in demand forecasting, supply planning, and lead time management.
Commercial Skills Comfortable with pricing discussions, MOQs, and supplier negotiations.
Operations Experience coordinating with warehouse and finance on stock, GRNs, and invoicing
Communication Strong English communication;
Arabic is a plus.
- Import and export request creation (food & non-food)
- Hands-on experience in handling freight forwarders for both import and export shipments.
- Solid understanding of customs procedures, documentation, and clearance processes.
- Commercial Mindset:
Strong understanding of cost drivers, landed cost, and margin impact. - Planning & Organisation:
Ability to plan purchases well in advance and manage competing priorities. - Multi-System Fluency:
Comfortable switching between supplier portals and internal systems daily. - Risk Management:
Proactive identification of supply risks and contingency planning. - Stakeholder Management:
Clear communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
