The Role

The role of a Business Development Manager is centered around strategic planning, relationship building, and driving business growth. The Business Development Manager will report into the Plant Growth Manager.

Primary Tasks Of This Role
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, identify and assess potential market opportunities, formulate and execute effective market entry strategies specially for the new market
  • Support Growth Manager to establish and execute the growth strategy
  • Identify high-quality sales leads, convert mature business opportunities, and transfer them to the sales team for follow-up
  • Track industry trends and competitor activities
  • Adjust strategies based on market dynamics and organizational objectives
  • Provide input to product teams based on customer feedback and market demands
  • Create go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional plans
  • Work with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement growth strategies and plan
  • Collaborate with other Business Areas to leverage their network and experience to explore new markets
  • Enable Growth Manager for quick response and decision making for business activities
