Job Purpose

The Travel Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all travel requirements to ensure cost-effective, efficient, and compliant travel arrangements in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including air tickets, hotel bookings, ground transportation, and visas.
  • Act as the primary point of contact on travel-related matters and inquiries.
  • Liaise with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other service providers to secure competitive rates and service levels.
  • Ensure all travel bookings comply with company travel policies and approved budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel bookings, costs, and travel-related documentation.
  • Support travel planning for business meetings, training programs, and corporate events.
  • Handle travel changes, cancellations, and emergency travel requirements efficiently.
  • Prepare periodic travel reports and cost summaries for management review.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to optimize travel costs and improve service quality.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate travel coordination or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems and corporate travel policies.
  • Experience dealing with travel agencies and service providers.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple travel requests simultaneously.
  • Good negotiation and cost-control skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
