Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Inventory Controller based in Dubai. The Inventory Controller will oversee day-to-day inventory management, ensuring stock levels are optimized and accurately recorded. Responsibilities include stock control, maintaining inventory databases, monitoring stock levels, preparing reports, and coordinating with other departments for efficient stock management. The ideal candidate will also address discrepancies and recommend strategies for improvement in inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily inventory operations, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and records.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with system data.
- Track inventory movements, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to forecast and plan inventory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive reports on stock levels, turnover, and inventory trends.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in cost control initiatives and optimize stock levels to minimize overstock and stockouts.
- Analyze inventory data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely replenishment and resolution of inventory issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and record-keeping.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination.
