The Manager – Partnerships is responsible for forging and nurturing strategic alliances to drive brand visibility and revenue growth. This role focuses on identifying potential partners, negotiating collaborations, and ensuring that these partnerships yield measurable results in alignment with the company’s objectives.
Role Details– Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Business Development/ Partnerships:
- Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with banks, telecommunication companies, and commercial entities to drive demand generation.
- Engage with partners across multiple markets for medium to large-scale campaigns.
- Create proposals, finalize options, and commercials leading to revenue uplift during key periods.
- Assess opportunities using data to model scenarios and present recommendations
- Secure medium to long-term partnerships to enhance sales.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring mutual satisfaction, and exploring opportunities for deeper collaboration.
- Leading the execution of key campaigns across multiple markets.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including financial partners, vendors and other partners.
- Ensure alignment on key visuals, adherence to brand guidelines, and obtain necessary approvals.
- Manage and track campaign plans and project plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Brand, Corporate Communications, Legal & Design and local markets.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of campaigns, ensuring they meet set KPIs and deliver the expected ROI.
- Monitor partner marketing as per the communication plan.
- Collate marketing assets into a central library and measure performance.
- Present quarterly campaign performance to local country management teams.
- Research competitor actions and identify areas for improvement
- Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
- Apply and follow MAFR’s Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.
- Provide feedback to colleagues, when required.
- Measured by KPIs against the targets (revenue from the partnerships, placed orders, GMV, new customers, CAC)
Minimum Qualifications / Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
- 6+ years in marketing/partnerships – in specific managing campaigns or projects, or business.
- Advanced project and stakeholder management skills
- Strong bias for action and resourcefulness with result-oriented outlook.
- Comfortable managing multiple campaigns at the same time, driving clear timelines and actions at the end of each conversation to ensure projects stay on track.
- Collaborative, pragmatic and proactive problem solver
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Strong business communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- Strong English language skills (Speaking, Reading and Writing) with exceptional business writing, Arabic is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in several visualization tools such as Tableau, Power
BI, etc. supporting data dashboarding and reporting is a plus.
