Role OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Commercial Director to lead our commercial growth and client success initiatives. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee our dynamic sales team, champion client support, and cultivate long‑lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the cleantech space. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of robust sales leadership and deep marketing agency experience, coupled with the ability to thrive in a truly global and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Leadership:
Direct, mentor, and oversee the daily operations of the sales team, setting clear KPIs and driving the team to meet and exceed revenue targets. - Client Relationship Management:
Act as the senior point of contact for key accounts. Nurture, maintain, and expand relationships with a diverse, global client base, ensuring their business needs are met with our consulting, data, and digital services. - Commercial Strategy:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and commercial strategies that align with Solarabic's mission to advance renewable energy and e‑mobility in the MEA region. - Client Support:
Ensure the highest standard of client support and satisfaction, proactively addressing challenges and delivering value‑driven solutions. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing, research, and consulting teams to align commercial efforts with market trends, ensuring a cohesive brand message and service delivery.
- Experience:
10+ years of experience in a senior commercial, sales, or business development role within a related field, or 10+ years of experience working in a Marketing Agency environment. - Industry Knowledge:
Experience in the Renewable Energy, Cleantech, or E‑mobility sectors is highly preferred. - Global Mindset & Cultural
Competency:
Proven ability to function and thrive in a highly diverse, multicultural company environment, effectively communicating and collaborating with team members of multiple nationalities and clients from all around the world. - Languages:
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic, French or Chinese is considered a strong advantage. - Leadership
Skills:
Proven track record of successfully managing, motivating, and scaling high‑performing sales teams. - Relationship Builder:
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to close deals and retain high-value clients. - Location:
Must be currently located in the UAE or willing/able to relocate and transfer.
