Position Overview:
New Business Models & Growth Manager
Location: Al-Futtaim Automotive
As a New Business Models & Growth Manager, you will play a critical role in driving strategic innovation and business expansion across the automotive and mobility sectors. This forward-looking role is focused on identifying and developing new opportunities through deep market analysis, financial modeling, external partnerships, and early-stage business incubation. You’ll work closely with internal teams and industry stakeholders to define and deliver transformative initiatives that shape the future of mobility in the region.
KeyResponsibilities
Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs within the mobility and automotive sectors.
Identify and assess new market opportunities, providing strategic recommendations backed by data-driven insights.
Develop and present business cases, opportunity assessments, and innovation strategies to senior leadership.
Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, including startups, OEMs, and mobility partners, to strengthen the innovation pipeline.
Support the development of financial models and investment proposals for new ventures, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine new business concepts and accelerate go-to-market strategies.
Participate in due diligence processes, ensuring proposals are commercially viable and aligned with legal, technical, and financial frameworks.
Contribute to internal thought leadership by sharing market intelligence, strategic insights, and innovation trends with executive teams.
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, business development, or within the automotive, tech, or startup sectors.
Expertise in conducting market research, evaluating new business opportunities, and building business cases.
Strong financial acumen with advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Deep understanding of the future mobility landscape, including EVs, MaaS, connected vehicles, and other disruptive trends.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams is a plus.

Your ProfileBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Track record of executing business initiatives from ideation through to implementation with minimal oversight.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
A passion for automotive innovation and a keen interest in emerging technologies.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality outputs.
Comfortable navigating change in a fast-evolving business environment.
