Siemens Energy is seeking a leader for the Gas Services Service Procurement Team in the Middle East. In this role, you will oversee the supply chain and lead teams in sourcing, supply management, and procurement activities for our products and services. You will manage partnerships with key stakeholders, including Corporate Procurement, Regional Service Units, Project Management, Operations, and Sales, ensuring business needs are integrated into sourcing strategies and order fulfillment.

Your focus will be on meeting procurement metrics while fostering a customer-centric approach and building a highly engaged team, positioning Procurement as an aspirational workplace.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build value for the Region Gas Services Service Business by driving cost reduction while ensuring high quality and delivery reliability.
• Collaborate with the business to define and implement a Procurement Strategy that delivers efficient service, targeted savings, and business synergies within the region.
• Maintain supply chain resiliency by actively monitoring risks and implementing effective mitigation plans.
• Engage early with interface partners, including Project Management, Service Operations, and Sales & Bidding Teams, to provide optimal procurement input for smooth project execution and maximize business value.
• Develop and maintain a strategic workforce composed of highly competent, motivated, and engaged team members, executing procurement activities in close collaboration with Service and Corporate Procurement Teams.
• Define standards and processes to continuously improve the efficiency and scalability of the supply chain in the region, focusing on key performance indicators such as cost savings, quality assurance, delivery reliability, supplier performance, risk management, team engagement, and customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

• Focused, driven, and empathetic leadership style with a commitment to team development.
• Holds a commercial or technical degree from a university, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with a strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Cultivates an ownership culture within the Service Procurement team, promoting a “We own the supply chain” mentality and a “One Team” approach for maximum value delivery.
• Actively develops and maintains strong supplier relationships and performance, with a passion for elevating the Procurement function and creating an engaged, motivated team that makes “Procurement a place to be.”

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
