Responsibilities
- Inspects deliveries of Food, beverage, general, engineering and operational supplies to ensure that they conform with quality specification and that a purchase order exists for the supply.
- Ensures that the items have been received on the expected date of delivery.
- Maintains a register for temperature measurement in the receiving area as required by Municipality.
- Ensures that the receiving area is kept clean.
- In case of direct purchase, obtains the approval of the requesting department for the items received.
- Fowards all the supplier invoices for Food & Beverage items to the cost control section.
- Maintains filing of Requisition forms, ensuring they are properly filled up and acknowledged by the requesting party; forwards original copies to cost control.
- Ensures that all items stored in the freezers are properly packed in plastic bags and labeled with corresponding tags.
- Good command of English and writing skills.
- Knowledge in MS Office.
Working environment: a brand new hotel just 5 minutes away from Dubai Airport and 250 meters from GGICO metro station.
