Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Calypso-based applications using scripting and Java
- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, FIX protocol, and Kafka
- Build and enhance back-office processing, settlement, accounting, and reporting
- Configure and optimize Calypso workflows, scheduled tasks, and engine processes
- Support front office operations including Calypso Workstation and Pricing Sheets
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage Oracle DB objects
- Collaborate with product and business teams on trade lifecycle requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in Calypso environments
- 5+ years of Calypso scripting and development experience
- Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and core modules
- Solid experience with Calypso APIs for integration and customization
- Hands-on knowledge of Equity products and Treasury instruments (FX, MM, Bonds, Repo, IRS, CCS, CDS)
- Deep expertise in trade lifecycle: booking, settlement, accounting, and reporting
- Proficiency in Core Java for Calypso customization
- Hands-on Oracle DB experience (SQL, stored procedures, optimization)
- REST API development and consumption experience
- Real-time integration experience using FIX protocol and Apache Kafka
