EGA Strategy and Corporate Development
The Senior Associate will assist and lead multiple work‑streams that support the development of EGA’s strategy and business objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing strategic priorities and the annual strategy development process.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and syndicating new investment opportunities across the value chain on a global basis.
- Developing performance improvement initiatives (e.g., operational improvements, OPEX/CAPEX reduction) and engaging appropriate functions to align and implement them.
- Interpreting data from multiple project components and translating findings into clear recommendations and business cases for new initiatives.
- Implementing initiatives that cover all business areas of EGA, including both revenue‑enhancing and cost‑reduction projects.
- Conducting ad‑hoc analyses to assess the profitability and strategic alignment of potential projects.
- Gathering, synthesizing, and presenting analyses and investment opportunities to the Executive Committee.
- Supporting EGA’s and the wider UAE industry’s decarbonization journey through targeted acquisitions and in‑house innovations.
- Coordinating the implementation of strategic initiatives and making key decisions within the scope of assigned work‑streams.
- Coaching and mentoring Associates to transfer knowledge and build sustained capability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or a related specialization.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Strategy, Finance, or business analysis within a reputable organization (consulting firm or investment bank) and experience managing junior resources.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to synthesize and interpret data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective prioritization skills to meet complex business demands.
- Proven ability to manage work‑streams and junior resources.
- Attention to detail.
