Position: Export Sales Manager-GCC Distribution (Oman Qatar Bahrain & Kuwait)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to manage and grow our distribution business across Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in GCC distribution management, distributor development, channel sales, and business expansion within the perfumes, FMCG, cosmetics, beauty, personal care, or related consumer goods sectors. The role will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening distributor relationships, ensuring market execution excellence, and identifying new business opportunities across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities Distributor Management
  • Manage and develop existing distributor partnerships across Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
  • Drive distributor performance through effective sales planning, forecasting, and target management.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to evaluate performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Ensure distributors maintain adequate inventory levels and product availability.
  • Monitor distributor investments, market coverage, and sales force effectiveness.
Business Development
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets for the region.
  • Develop annual business plans and growth strategies for each market.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, new channels, and customer acquisition.
  • Appoint and onboard new distributors where required.
  • Support distributors in securing key retail, wholesale, modern trade, and traditional trade accounts.
Market Execution & Trade Development
  • Ensure effective execution of brand‑building and trade marketing initiatives across all assigned markets.
  • Monitor product visibility, merchandising standards, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Work closely with distributors to improve market penetration and distribution reach.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess business performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Support successful launches of new products across the region.
Forecasting & Supply Coordination
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
  • Support demand planning and inventory optimization initiatives.
Market Intelligence
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
  • Gather market insights and provide recommendations to strengthen market position.
  • Analyze sales performance and prepare regular management reports.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor management teams and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all distributor-related commercial matters.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, distributor meetings, and industry events.
  • Ensure high levels of distributor engagement and alignment with company objectives.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field.
  • MBA will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Export Sales and Distribution Management within GCC markets.
  • Proven experience managing distributors in Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
  • Experience with in perfumes, cosmetics, beauty, FMCG, personal care, or related consumer goods industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GCC retail, wholesale, and distribution networks.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and expanding regional business.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong distributor management and channel development skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and business planning skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute market growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple markets.
Other Requirements
  • Willingness to travel extensively across GCC markets.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.
  • Arabic language proficiency will be an added advantage.
