JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountability for achieving the sales target for African market across all products, pricing and customer product portfolio management. Act as key interface to functional resources – production, supply chain, sales, marketing, procurement, technical and regulatory. Responsible for growing existing business and generating qualified leads to increase overall territory sales volume, as well as planning and implementing business processes.

Develop effective pricing strategies through market and customer analysis and maintain accurate customer data in CRM. Work collaboratively at all levels to ensure satisfaction of internal colleagues and external associates.

SALES & AOP
  • Preparing and achieving AOP sales revenue on a monthly basis for assigned countries.
  • Budget planning and monitoring.
  • Pricing strategy for KOPL HO & outsourced trading products.
MARKET & CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT
  • Develop and execute strategies for new market development, penetration, and distribution network creation with trading products.
  • Grow business with distributors, agencies and direct customers. Support distributors with marketing and technical tools.
  • Generate market research and maintain competitor database.
  • Represent KOPL at industry events, exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings.
CUSTOMER & CRM MANAGEMENT
  • Interact with customers daily and update CRM.
  • Visit existing and new customers to generate business revenue and build relationships.
  • Responsible for CRM entries, monitoring and update of new market developments, pricing and suppliers. Review CRM graphs twice monthly and report to Marketing, Accounts and Finance teams.
SALES PLANNING & INFRASTRUCTURE
  • Collect payment, manage overdue debtors and creditors.
  • Material planning and stock management as per regional customer requirements.
  • Assist Business Manager in inventory management in line with cash flow and business requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics team to dispatch orders, generate BOL and manage warehouse for timely dispatch.
MARKETING & PRODUCTION SUPPORT
  • Responsible for product promotion, advertisement and new product promotion.
  • Prepare monthly marketing charts product‑wise and country‑wise in coordination with Product Owner and Marketing Team.
  • Prepare digital marketing plan – webinars, e‑mail, Linked In campaigns, etc., in coordination with Digital Marketing team.
  • Coordinate product registration with regional regulatory requirements.
REPORTING & INTELLIGENCE
  • Generate daily sales reports and update CRM software each day.
  • Maintain accuracy of product customer forecasts and remedy variances.
  • Submit internal reports, customer account updates, call reports and monthly updates including key intelligence data.
  • Comply with annual budgeting activities and consistently utilize CRM for business needs.
MARKET INTELLIGENCE
  • Increase market intelligence by bringing information about industries, competitors and customers back into the organization.
