Job Description & How to Apply Below

The International Expansions team is responsible for helping to launch new Amazon marketplaces around the world. We are seeking a Supply Chain Instock Manager to work with top vendors globally and drive our global direct import business.

You will have end‑to‑end ownership of the import supply‑chain process from manufacturer to availability in our Fulfillment Centers, and you will develop and implement inventory‑management strategies to optimize customer experience. The position requires someone who can work autonomously in a fast‑paced, demanding, and often ambiguous environment. Because this role involves multiple global stakeholders, we need strong stakeholder‑management capabilities and a bias for action.

In this role you will be a true entrepreneur, managing all aspects of your business daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage availability and inventory health, including improving in‑stock rates, inventory planning, vendor lead time, fill rate, unhealthy inventory, and forecast accuracy for import selection.
  • Drive meaningful, data‑driven solutions to solve complex supply‑chain problems.
  • Create and run buying‑forecasting scenarios to enable better buying decisions and ensure continuous improvement in the buying process.
  • Drive automation programs for imports.
  • Step‑change vendors’ operational performance by acting as their internal consultant on forecasting and buying operations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders of partnered vendors to grow and optimize the joint import business.
  • Monitor inventory health and adjust buying forecasts based on inputs from CA, US, MX, Europe, APAC, and MENA stakeholders, pivoting priorities based on business needs.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5 years of supply chain inventory management or project management experience.
  • 5 years of Excel experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of analytic tools.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Previous experience managing multinational companies’ business.
  • Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control.
  • Experience with process‑improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
  • Experience working with complex data sets and proficiency in SQL.
  • Excellent business judgement, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common‑sense approach to getting things done.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
  • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities, committed to getting things done.
  • Strong data extraction, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
