Procurement Excellence & Value Creation Director | MAF Global Solutions | Global Solutions UAE

Procurement Excellence & Value Creation Director will lead the development and continuous enhancement of Majid Al Futtaim's procurement operating model, governance framework, technology ecosystem, and value creation agenda. Reporting to the VP Group Procurement, this role will drive procurement transformation across the Group, embedding best practices in governance, digital enablement, analytics, capability building, and commercial value delivery while partnering with senior stakeholders.

• Lead the continuous improvement of the Group Procurement operating model, governance structure, policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Design and implement procurement excellence initiatives that enhance efficiency, standardization, and operational performance across the Group.
• Own and evolve the Group's savings and value creation methodology, ensuring robust validation and reporting in partnership with Finance.
• Drive demand management, value engineering, and supplier-led innovation initiatives to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
• Lead the procurement technology roadmap, including optimization of procurement systems, automation, AI, and ERP integrations.
• Establish and maintain a single source of truth for procurement data, delivering executive-level insights and performance reporting.
• Build procurement capabilities through training programs, super-user networks, knowledge management, and best practice sharing.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Audit & Compliance, Technology, and business units to drive alignment and procurement transformation.

• Minimum 15 years of progressive procurement experience, including procurement excellence, transformation, governance, and value creation.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale procurement transformation initiatives within complex, multi-entity organizations.
• Strong expertise in procurement operating models, governance frameworks, savings methodologies, and procurement technology platforms.
• Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, VPs, and Managing Directors.
• Strong leadership experience managing specialist teams and driving change across matrixed environments.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA and professional procurement certifications are advantageous. Fluency in English is required, while Arabic is preferred.
