Job Description
Provide analytical and operational support to the Product & Procurement Manager by executing product specification Management, pricing analysis, and market intelligence activities and ensuring the timely information to Procurement function.
Responsibilities- Ownership of monitoring and reporting the PLM for all the brands
Identify and finalize the specs / features requirements, based on product / segment evaluation & market requirements, well ahead of ordering timelines. Including negotiations with the OEM’s - Develop a detailed product strategy document – including in-depth competition specs & pricing analysis, and present the pricing proposal to management and conclude the roll out
- Support in developing training materials and technical guides for new model launch planning
- Maintain ownership of vehicle specification documentation across the brands, ensuring accuracy, version control, and alignment with set standards.
- Provide structured responses to all the product and technical queries.
- Monitor UAE automotive market developments - conduct timely competitive benchmarking and Support preparation of SWOT analysis and translate findings into structured recommendations.
- Prepare pricing simulations, and financial impact assessments using new pricing bots
- Develop and maintain regular product and pricing performance reports to support management decision-making
- Prepare necessary documents for procurement team to monitor & support business plan preparations, create product order forms,
- Maintain product data repositories, pricing databases and cost trackers.
- validate data integrity across product and pricing documentation - Ensure timely and accurate updates of dashboards and reporting tools.
- Support marketing team on Campaigns and branding
- Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the UAE automotive sector, preferably with dealer or OEM exposure in product, planning, or pricing functions.
- Strong analytical capability with structured problem-solving approach.
- Working knowledge of automotive product lifecycle management, ordering systems, and pricing processes.
- Understanding of UAE automotive market dynamics and competitive landscape.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data modelling and reporting. - Familiarity with automotive technologies and specification structures.
- Ability to work within defined processes while managing multiple priorities with accuracy and urgency
- Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration skill
