Job Description

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals a paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract under Business France’s eligibility criteria and has a duration of 24 months.

A VIE for a Strategic Incubation Officer has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft); you will join the Customer Services Africa Middle-East (AME) Business Development team.

The job holder will support the Customer Services Strategic Incubation worldwide follow‑up and develop the strategic Incubation network in the Africa Middle East region.

• Support the Customer Services Strategic Incubation Leader in:
  • Incubation governance definition and implementation
  • Incubation project follow‑up
  • Identification of relevant incubation opportunities worldwide in consistency with Airbus strategy and code of conduct
  • Establishment of the necessary project organization and governance
  • Elaboration of project deliverables
  • Support the preparation of the contractual set‑up (in relation with legal and procurement departments)
• Prospect in the Africa Middle East region for potential start‑ups or partnerships for incubation purposes

This role may involve limited travel for business and you must be able to travel accordingly.

• Engineering degree (preferable specialization in aeronautics) or business management degree
• Project management
• Writing and communication
• Data analysis
• Problem solving
• Stakeholder management
• Fully fluent in English

• Experience in innovation and business development
• Previous experience in the aviation business
• Experience working on or drafting contracts
• Knowledge of Airbus Customer Services organization
