Purchase Manager – Oil Tanker Fleet Operations

Maverick Ship Management FZCO is looking for an experienced and proactive Purchase Manager to join our team in Dubai and support the procurement activities of our oil tanker fleet.

• Manage purchasing and procurement activities for assigned vessels.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and delivery terms.
• Process requisitions and purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with vessels' technical departments and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of stores, spares, and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and budget requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing records.

• Previous experience in marine procurement, preferably with tanker vessels.
• Good knowledge of ship stores, spare parts, and marine services procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software systems.
• Excellent command of English.
