About the job Commercial (SME) Portfolio Manager
Term: 12 months
Location: Dubai
Division: Issuing and Processing
Reports to: Head of Product, Head of Issuing
Relevant experience: 8-12 years in commercial cards product management, SME portfolio development, and customer acquisition in the UAE/ GCC region.
Mandatory requirements:
- UAE market experience in SME/ Commercial cards
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience in card operations, onboarding, and activation campaigns
- Experience in stakeholder management across products, credit, risk and operations
Support the launch and growth of clients new SME commercial credit card portfolio in the UAE. Drive customer acquisition, activation, and spend through targeted campaigns and operational excellence
Key Activities Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Lead SME customer acquisition campaigns across digital, direct, and partner channels to onboard new clients.
- Design and implement onboarding journeys to maximize activation and early spend.
- Optimize pricing, rewards, and product features to drive portfolio profitability.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify underutilized segments for targeted spend stimulation.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless card issuance and servicing.
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and partners to support SME engagement.
- Prepare monthly performance dashboards and insights for senior stakeholders.
- Support expansion into new SME verticals through tailored propositions.
- Leverage companys assets and tools to enhance product delivery and campaign execution.
- SME card acquisition volume (monthly target)
- Activation rate within first 30 days Monthly spend per active SME card
- Campaign ROI and conversion rate
- SLA adherence for onboarding and servicing
- Training effectiveness (feedback score)
- Fraud rate (% of transactions flagged)
- Full lifecycle of SME/commercial card product management
- Experience in onboarding, activation, and spend stimulation strategies
- Familiarity with GCC SME market dynamics and regulatory environment
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Arabic language proficiency (Verification Needed)
- Experience with B2B payments and supplier enablement
- Knowledge of TSYS Prime or similar card platforms (Verification Needed)
- Experience with card scheme tools and mandates
- Campaign design and execution (digital, direct, partner)
- Product pricing and rewards optimization
- Stakeholder management across product, credit, risk and operations
- Training design and delivery
- Scheme rule interpretation (Verification Needed)
- Familiarity with onboarding systems and card issuance platforms (Verification Needed)
