As an Art Consultant
, you will lead the development of comprehensive art strategies and oversee the curation, commissioning, and integration of artwork across a wide range of projects in the region. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally resonant, context driven art programs that elevate the character and identity of built environments.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape impactful art experiences through strategic thinking, creative direction, and expert curation. You will engage in a dynamic mix of research, concept development, artist engagement, and project coordination, ensuring that every artwork contributes meaningfully to the project narrative and client vision.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of art strategies, including thematic direction, curatorial concepts, and artwork narratives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend artists, local, regional, and international aligned with project goals, cultural context, and budget.
  • Define artwork locations across masterplans, buildings, and public spaces, ensuring integration with architecture, landscape, and interior design.
  • Oversee the commissioning process, from artist briefing and concept development to fabrication oversight and installation coordination.
  • Curate artwork selections, including sculptures, installations, digital art, graphics, and accessories.
  • Prepare compelling presentations and curatorial documents to communicate strategy, concepts, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of artworks into the built environment.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity, research, and excellence.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and workflows to ensure timely and high quality delivery of all art related outputs.
  • Stay informed on global and regional art trends, emerging artists, fabrication techniques, and best practices in public art and curation.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Curatorial Studies, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in art consulting, curation, public art, or cultural programming across sectors such as hospitality, mixed-use, cultural, commercial, and public realm.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of art strategies, curation, and commissioned artworks from concept to installation.
  • Excellent creative and conceptual skills, with the ability to craft compelling curatorial narratives and artwork strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence in engaging clients, artists, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant design and presentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D rendering, Sketch Up, AI based tools, and other visualization platforms.
  • Solid understanding of fabrication methods, materials, installation requirements, and artwork conservation considerations.
  • Familiarity with regional cultural frameworks, public art guidelines, and procurement processes in the Middle East.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to support artist visits, fabrication reviews, and installation oversight.
