Overview
We are looking for a creative and multidisciplinary Chocolate Experience Designer to design how customers experience our brand across physical, sensory, and interactive touchpoints. This role goes beyond product — it transforms chocolate into a journey through storytelling, tasting rituals, gifting moments, retail theater, and immersive activations. You will design and orchestrate memorable chocolate experiences across stores, pop-ups, events, workshops, and packaging interactions — blending creativity, design thinking, and sensory engagement.
The ideal candidate combines experience design, brand storytelling, and spatial or sensory creativity, with a passion for food, culture, and emotional customer connection.
- Design end-to-end chocolate experiences across retail, events, and brand activations.
- Create experience concepts for: tasting journeys; chocolate rituals; guided flavor flights; gifting experiences; interactive displays; translate brand stories into physical and sensory experiences.
- Develop themed experience concepts for seasonal launches and limited editions.
- Design in-store chocolate experiences including tasting counters, discovery zones, and interactive displays.
- Collaborate with retail and visual merchandising teams on customer journey flow.
- Create experiential concepts for: pop-up stores; kiosks; mall activations; chocolate bars & counters.
- Ensure experiences are immersive, premium, and operationally practical.
- Design gifting journeys and unboxing rituals for premium chocolate collections.
- Work with packaging and innovation teams to create interactive packaging moments.
- Develop storytelling elements inside gift boxes and collections.
- Elevate corporate and seasonal gifting into memorable brand moments.
- Conceptualize chocolate workshops, tasting events, and community experiences.
- Design interactive formats such as: chocolate-making sessions; pairing experiences; sensory tasting classes; family & kids chocolate labs.
- Collaborate with Events & Activations teams on execution standards.
- Design experiences using taste, texture, aroma, sound, and visual cues; work with chefs and product teams to build flavor storytelling journeys.
- Create scripts and frameworks for guided tastings and product storytelling.
- Develop brand rituals and signature experience formats.
- Work closely with Brand & Marketing, Innovation & R&D, Retail Experience, Packaging Design, and Events & Activations to align experience design with campaign themes and product launches; prototype and test new experience formats before rollout.
- Bachelor’s degree in Experience Design, Brand Design, Interior/Spatial Design, Hospitality, or Creative Direction.
- 4–8 years experience in experience design, brand activations, hospitality concepts, or experiential marketing.
- Strong understanding of customer journey design and emotional touchpoints.
- Experience in retail, food, luxury, or lifestyle brands preferred.
- Ability to translate brand identity into physical and interactive experiences.
- Strong concept development and presentation skills.
- Visual thinking and storytelling ability.
- Passion for food, chocolate, culture, and sensory design.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
