Junioronline Editor, Arabic and English, Vogue Arabia
Vogue Arabia is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Editor to support the editorial team across English and Arabic digital platforms. Reporting to the Head of Editorial Content and working closely with senior editors, this role combines hands‑on editorial production, writing and editing, with operational and administrative support.
The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, beauty and culture, has a strong understanding of the Middle East market, and is eager to develop their editorial skills within a fast‑paced, high‑profile media brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Work with the Head of Editorial and other editorial leaders to generate, commission and edit story ideas from the internal team as well as from external contributors.
- Manage workflow, build and produce stories for digital content, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain and build a strong bank of regional and international writers, ensuring all editorial contributors adhere to Vogue’s quality and style standards.
- Support Help guide social, newsletter and video strategy – bringing new ideas and data‑led learnings to the content.
- Manage the daily digital editorial calendar, helping to maintain the publishing schedule and seeing content ideas through, from ideation to publication.
- Work with audience and revenue teams to help inform content development. Monitor performance and analytics, and assist in building weekly and monthly reports.
- Identify areas of collaboration with digital partners in order to gain an editorial advantage.
- Work with commercial teams to help execute native advertising ideas and ideate commercial solutions.
- Act as an ambassador for the brand both internally and externally.
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing, editing and writing in Arabic and English at a digital‑focused media company.
- Strong understanding of the Middle East market, with a solid network of regional contacts.
- Strong Arabic writing and editing skills, with an expertise in social platforms and SEO.
- Experience using and acting on data collected from key analytics tools.
- Strong collaboration and organisational skills; deadline‑conscious, goal‑oriented.
- Understanding of the global Vogue brand and the digital landscape.
- Affiliate/ecommerce experience is a plus.
- Written and spoken Arabic is mandatory.
Excellent Writing & Editing in Arabic
Flawless language skills, strong grammar and style, and the ability to produce clear, engaging content in Arabic.
The ideal candidate should be able to deliver final, publication‑ready content without the need for further editing, demonstrating exceptional writing and grammar skills at the highest level.
