Technical Designer

GL events Middle East is seeking highly skilled Technical Designers to join our team for multiple upcoming projects, bringing innovation, technical precision, and creative solutions to our events.

• Develop detailed technical drawings, schematics, and renderings for stages, lighting, AV setups, and interactive installations.
• Plan and optimize event spaces, coordinating with 3D designers, production teams, and vendors.
• Translate creative visions into practical, buildable designs that comply with safety standards and venue regulations.
• Collaborate closely with creative teams, technical crews, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.
• Provide technical solutions and troubleshooting during event setup and execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Proven experience in large-scale events or live productions.
• Strong ability to produce technical drawings and detailed documentation.
• Skilled in space planning and coordinating with 3D and production teams.
• Reliable, collaborative, and solution-oriented.
• Proficiency in:
  AutoCAD – expert level / Sketch Up – strong / 3ds Max and Revit – a plus
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel to event sites as required.
