Graphic Designer

Overview

This role is responsible for leading the design and visual communication strategy for the hospital. It involves creating high-quality marketing and communication materials, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints, and supporting key hospital initiatives and events.

The position focuses on visual communication, delivering creative concepts and visual content for strategic campaigns, patient education, internal communications, and corporate initiatives. All designs must align with the hospital brand guidelines and maintain consistency, accuracy, and alignment with hospital standards.

Collaborates with clinical and non‑clinical departments to understand design needs and translate requirements into effective visual materials. Ensures all outputs meet timelines, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements, including accuracy of medical information and patient privacy standards. Supports hospital events, launches, conferences, and health awareness campaigns with creative materials and on‑site visual coordination.

Produces digital content for social media platforms, the website, mobile screens, LED walls, and internal digital channels. Edits photos, videos, animations, and infographics to support organizational communication and service promotion. Manages digital assets, templates, and artwork archives, ensuring proper organization, retrieval, and secure storage.

Ensures all designs comply with UAE healthcare communication standards, patient confidentiality requirements, and hospital brand governance. Conducts regular quality checks on printed and digital materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and production quality.

Stays updated with design trends, software advancements, and best practices in healthcare communication and visual design, continually improving processes and outcomes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Media Design, or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant design experience, preferably in healthcare, corporate communications, or a high‑volume design environment.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles, layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Knowledge of branding systems, corporate identity standards, and UAE healthcare communication norms.
• Knowledge of print production processes, digital media formats, and multimedia workflows.
• Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Skills in digital content creation, infographics, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
• Skills in photo editing, video editing, and preparing files for print and digital distribution.
• Ability to translate complex healthcare information into clear, engaging, and compliant visual materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, administrative departments, and leadership stakeholders.
